The various trekking routes that start from our lodge are an adventurous journey around the natural beauty and historical sites at the foot of Mt. Fuji. Each has its own distinctive course, such as Arakurayama, Shimoyama, and Oshino Hakkai, and is highly recommended for nature lovers and those interested in history. We promise you a luxurious experience where you can experience the great outdoors and the culture rooted at the foot of Mt. Fuji while enjoying some of Japan's most scenic spots, including Mt. Fuji itself.
For beginners
Climb Arakurayama via Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine and Chureito Pagoda. This is a casual course where you can enjoy the spectacular view of Mt. Fuji from the summit. It can be enjoyed by a wide range of people from beginners to advanced climbers, and you can easily experience the charm of Mt. Fuji. Arakurayama Sengen Park is home to about 650 cherry trees, and a cherry blossom festival is held in spring, so you can experience the nature of the four seasons.

For beginners
This course goes via Arakurayama to Shimoyama and Tenjoyama Fujimidai. Not only can you enjoy a spectacular view of Mt. Fuji, but you can also use the ropeway and sightseeing boat, so you can combine mountain climbing with sightseeing. Recommended for families. Shimoyama has an observation deck with a steel tower, and Tenjoyama offers a spectacular view of Mt. Fuji up close.

This course visits Shakushiyama and Oshino Hakkai after passing through photo spots on Honmachi Street. You can enjoy the view of Mt. Fuji and the natural scenery, and it's easy to get around by bus. This is a route that lets you casually experience the charm of the foothills of Mt. Fuji. Oshino Hakkai is a mysterious place where spring water from Mt. Fuji gathers, and you can experience the nature of Mt. Fuji.

From our lodge, we pass Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine, and climb Mt. Fuji's Yoshidaguchi trail. This is a challenging course where you can take a nap in a mountain hut on the way and then climb to the top of Mt. Fuji. Along the trail, there are many sights such as magnificent views of Mt. Fuji and historical shrines and temples, so you can enjoy the real pleasure of climbing Mt. Fuji. The trail is generally well-maintained, but it is a course that requires physical strength. For the return trip, you will need to take a bus from the halfway point. If you are a beginner or climbing alone, we recommend that you take the bus not only on the return trip but also on the outbound trip.
