Background of Koshu Tsutsumiya
When tourists visit Arakurayama Sengen Park, they often rush to capture photographs of Mount Fuji and move on to the next town immediately after. Our founder felt a vague sense of frustration each time he observed such typical tourist behavior.
Believing that “it is truly a waste not to enjoy the delicious local cuisine in this beautiful place,” he decided to establish a takeout specialty store that leverages local ingredients. Our culinary offerings are supported by strong connections with local farmers and producers.
Using seasonal ingredients, our mission is to allow all visitors to savor the flavors of Koshu. We believe that food is not only meant to be enjoyed deliciously but also serves as an essential element that enriches the heart and creates lasting memories.
